German automobile manufacturer Audi has an extensive history that dates back to the early 1900’s, when August Horch founded Horch & Cie., building his first car. Horch eventually left and formed a second car company, named after the Latin translation of his name - also known as Audi. Throughout the brand’s history, there were many milestones, including being the first car manufacturer to present a production car that featured a left-hand drive in 1921. Horch also had major success with several wins at the Austrian Alpine run, which later led to three other companies joining forces to form the Auto Union AG. The merger of these four companies was symbolized by four rings, the badge present on the Audi models you know and love today. Auto Union AG presented a new Audi at the 1933 Berlin Motor show, where it received a lot of buzz and increased popularity. Throughout the years, many other models were developed, including the Audi 100 in 1968 which helped set the standard for future Audi model series and established them as a luxury car marque.

Since Audi was established, there have been several popular models that have been produced as part of their lineup.
